A Very Special Place, Inc, provides a comprehensive network of programs and services for people with developmental disabilities and their families. With the guidance and support offered at AVSP people of all ages find opportunities to achieve independence and self-fulfillment.

A Very Special Place, Inc. has been greatly impacted by Super-storm Sandy with three of our sites being directly hit by the storm surge.  As a non-profit organization so greatly affected by this storm, we need your financial support now more than ever.  Please help us to restore our services so that we can continue to provide quality programs for people with developmental disabilities.   Presently over 140 of our participants are either displaced from their home or not receiving services. 

Monetary donations will make the greatest and most immediate impact, helping us to rebuild as quickly as possible.

Giving to A Very Special Place, Inc. and our relief fund, one hundred percent of the donations will be used to help us recover and rebuild for the future and will make a direct impact to a Staten Island 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization affected by Super-storm Sandy.
